THE Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas has started preliminary talks with the Philippine Basketball Association in forming a national squad for next year’s FIBA Asia men’s championships, but most of the discussions are still in the “conceptual stage,” according to SBP executive director Sonny Barrios.
